If you will be performing the role of **Coach or Manager **for your team, you will require your own Dribl account to perform administrative tasks in the Dribl platform such as making your teams match day team selections.

> ⚠️ Check with your club administrator first that all [club member setup steps](https://help.dribl.com/space/CL/482410500/Club+Member+Setup+Steps) have been completed prior to creating your Dribl account via either method below.


**2 ways to create a Dribl account:**

1. Dribl account invitation sent by your club administrator ** recommended method  *(or)
2. Create Dribl account via Dribl App


### Dribl account invitation sent by your club administrator

Most **Club Administrators** will create a Dribl account for each of their coaches and managers (who do not already have a Dribl account) and send a Dribl account activation email with details below:

**From:** Dribl <[no-reply@dribl.com](mailto:no-reply@dribl.com)>  
**Subject:** Welcome to Dribl!

**Body of email: **Please click *‘unique activation link’* to activate your account and set your password.

> 📝 
> 📝 a) Confirm with your club administrator that they have sent the activation email to you and confirm to which email address it was sent.
> 📝 
> 📝 b) Check your Junk/Spam folders as these emails can occasionally land in these folders. Once the email has been located, please mark the email as Safe / Not Junk to ensure future email correspondence from Dribl lands directly in your inbox

Once you receive this email, click on the hyperlink in the email to activate your Dribl account and setup the password you wish to use for your Dribl account.


### Create Dribl account via Dribl App

If you have registered to participate in a competition at any stage, you may have an existing member profile created but may not have been activated. Follow these steps to [activate your Dribl account ](https://dribl.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TO/pages/58261505)using the self-service option.


### I already have a Dribl account

If you have already created yourself a Dribl account, it is important for that Dribl account to use the same email address that was used when you registered as a coach or manager. If the email does align and your club administrator approves your registration, you will automatically receive the appropriate Dribl Coach/Manager access.


### Troubleshooting

If you have created your Dribl account via either of the above 2 methods and still cannot access the match sheet for your team to make your teams match day selections, you may have a ‘supporter’ Dribl account as opposed to the required ‘Coach or Manager’ Dribl access account.

A simple way to fix this is by [delete or de-activate your supporter account](https://help.dribl.com/space/MYA/17793502/Delete+or+deactivate+your+Dribl+account)

Then re-signup to Dribl with the email address that was used for your coach or manager registration.


**Important:** Your registration needs to be approved by a **Club Administrator** in Dribl before an account can be activated or created. Creating a Dribl account prior may result in a Supporter Account
