This article provides a proposed template procedure to be followed in the event of any issue that prevents access to the Dribl platform when close to the scheduled kick off time on match day.

Each competition administrator can modify these steps as required to reflect the local cut off times and policies of their local competition. 

> 📝 *Referee Branches: Please advise your match officials what the local backup process and cut off times are for your local competitions.


**Each team manager/coach to bring a copy of the below 2 printed materials to each match:**

**Pre Match **

1. xx minutes before kick off time, it is noted that the Dribl platform is inaccessible

*(Referee Branch - Please confirm local time threshold with your local competition administrator and communicate to your match officials).*

1. **Home Team team steps:**

**Access their own team paper match sheet** that has been prepared and readily accessible from their kit bag. Reference [How to generate a paper match sheet](https://help.dribl.com/space/TO/490799126/Paper+Match+Sheet+Generator)

a) Complete match details (top of sheet): Ground, Time, Date, Home & Away team names etc

b) In the ‘Start Y/N’ column, Write in 'Y' for each player that will be starting the match, 'N’ for each player on the bench.

c) Review and update jersey numbers (if required)

d) Draw a line through any players, coaches, managers or staff not part of team for the match day

e) Add in any borrowed players (including jersey no), coaches (C), managers (M), staff (S) etc that are part of this specific match day squad in the blank lines

3. **Home team provides completed match sheet to referee**

* If ID verification is required, also provide home team ID Card sheet to referee for review.


3. **Away Team Steps:**

a) Away team completes their own teams copy of the paper match sheet (replicating steps above) 

b) **Away team provides their copy of the completed match sheet to referee**

*If ID verification is required, also provide away team ID Card sheet to referee for review.


Match can commence once the above procedure has been completed by both home and away team.


**Post Match - Referee Steps**

1. **Referee writes in the relevant match data on the **<u>**Home Teams match sheet**</u> i.e. Scores, Subs, goal scorers, match official names and Registration numbers.
2. **Referee takes a photo of both the Home & Away match sheets**. *Note for the Home team match sheet include photos of both pages to include match data entered by referee.
3. **Referee sends match sheet photos via email or SMS** to relevant competition administrator within xx hours of full time.

***Referee Branch:**** Please confirm the local cut off time for match sheet submission and what the local email address and/or mobile number is to send to with your local competition administrator and communicate this to your match officials.*


***Reference only***** - Comp Admin (Data entry)**

Once the Dribl platform is available again, the relevant competition admin is to enter the provided match data on the relevant match sheet for each match provided during the outage.

Results, Ladders, Member Offences etc will update once all data is added and ‘Complete Match Sheet’ has been selected as per standard process.
