A **Contact Email** and **Account Email **serve different purposes in Dribl and it is important to understand the difference.

#### **Contact Email**

A **Contact Email** is configured on your member profile and it is how we keep in touch with you. We'll send important emails about your privacy, account, notifications, as well as any other important information you need to know.

The same contact email address can be used on multiple member profiles.

> The Contact Email is the same email address that you used to register with a club in the current season, either via the [Dribl member registration system](https://registration.dribl.com/) or a 3rd-party system such as Play Football.
>
> If you have registered multiple family members under your login, they will automatically inherit your email address as their contact email, unless a different email address was specified.

#### **Account Email**

An Account Email is the unique identifier linked to a member’s digital identity, also referred to as a **Dribl account**.

An email address can only be linked to one Dribl account at a time and forms part of your login credentials which provides secure access and personalised interactions within the Dribl platform.
