This article provides a proposed template procedure to follow in the event of any issue that prevents access to the Dribl platform when close to scheduled kick off time on match day.

Each competition administrator can modify these steps as required to reflect the local cut off times and policies of your local competition.

> 📝 *Competitions Admins - Please ensure your local revised process is communicated to all your clubs and teams.

**Pre-requisite:** Ensure all clubs and teams have prepared the required backup material:

- [Paper match sheet](https://help.dribl.com/space/LA/422281222/Paper+match+sheet+generator+-+Backup+resources)
- [ID Cards](https://help.dribl.com/space/LA/439582733/ID+card+generator+-+Backup+Resources)

**Pre Match**

1. xx minutes before kick off time, it is noted that the Dribl platform is inaccessible
2. **Home Team completes team their paper match sheet** that has been prepared and readily accessible from their kit bag. Reference [How to generate a paper match sheet](https://help.dribl.com/space/LA/422281222/Paper+match+sheet+generator+-+Backup+resources)

a) Complete match details (top of sheet): Ground, Time, Date, Home & Away team names etc

b) In the ‘Start Y/N’ column, Write in 'Y' for each player that will be starting the match, 'N’ for each player on the bench.

c) Review and modify jersey numbers (if required)

d) Draw a line through any players, coaches, managers or staff not part of team for match day

e) Add in any borrowed players (including jersey no), coaches (C), managers (M), staff (S) etc that are part of this specific match day squad in the blank lines

3. **Provide completed match sheet to referee**
4. **If ID verification is required**, provide ID Card sheet to referee also for review.
5. **Away Team **complete their own copy of match sheet, provide completed match sheet and ID card sheet to referee (replicate Home team steps 2-4 above)

**Post Match**

1. **Referee writes in the relevant match data on the Home Teams match sheet** ie Scores, Subs, goal scorers, match official names and Registration numbers.
2. **Referee takes a photo **of both the Home & Away match sheets. Note for Home team match sheet includes photo of both pages to include match data entered by referee.
3. **Referee sends match sheet photos via email or SMS** to relevant competition administrator within xx hours of full time.

*Comp admins, please ensure the relevant email or SMS details to send to are communicated to all members at the start of the season as per communication of your backup process.

**Comp Admin (Data entry)**

Once the Dribl platform is available again, the relevant competition admin is to enter the provided match data on the relevant match sheet for each match provided during the outage.

Results, Ladders, Member Offences etc will update once all data is added and ‘Complete Match Sheet’ has been selected as per standard process.
