As a league administrator, it is common for your members to contact you to request support with performing the various functions across the Dribl platform and/or troubleshooting any Dribl related issues. Trying to provide this support over the phone can be quite challenging, understanding this Dribl have provided the ‘Impersonate Member’ function to make supporting your members easier.

The ‘Impersonate Member’ functionality allows members with the Dribl access role of BA (Body Administrator) ONLY to access *[DRIBL ](https://app.dribl.com/signin/)*[Web Admin](https://app.dribl.com/signin/) with the replicated access of the member requesting support. This allows the BA to see exactly what the member calling sees when they login, in terms of what functions and settings are/are not available to allow for efficient support of your members.

> ⚠️ Warning: All actions performed by the BA whilst utilising the ‘Impersonate Member’ function are audited for security and privacy purposes.


### ***DRIBL ***Web Admin

**Dribl Access Role requirement:** Body Administrator

**Dribl members that you can impersonate:**

-Only members within your own Dribl tenancy.

-Only members with one of the below Dribl member access roles can be impersonated:

- Club Administrator
- Club Age Coordinator
- Club Official
- Club Recorder
- Club Reporter
- Player
- Coach
- Manager
- Team Recorder
- Team Reporter
- Staff

> ℹ️ **Note:** If the person you wish to impersonate *ALSO *holds *ANY *of the below roles, **they cannot be impersonated:**
> ℹ️ 
> ℹ️ - Body Financial Controller
> ℹ️ - Financial Controller
> ℹ️ - Body Administrator

 

### How to impersonate a user via ***DRIBL ***Web Admin

1. [Login](https://app.dribl.com/signin/) to ***DRIBL*** Web Admin with BA (Body Administrator) Dribl access
2. Select the **Members **function
3. **Search** for the relevant member you wish to impersonate

> ℹ️ Reminder - You can only impersonate members that hold any of the roles listed above

4. Select the **Impersonate member icon**  found in the data line of the relevant user
5. Click **OK** to the prompt - “This will log you in as ‘Firstname Lastname’. This will be tracked for security and auditing purposes. Do you wish to continue?
6. You will now be logged into Dribl web admin as the selected user

> 📝 All access displayed now will reflect the access of the selected user

The **impersonated state is visually represented** in the top right hand corner of the screen as per indicator below. 

A) Name Left side “Primary User” = Name of BA performing the impersonation function

B) Name Right side after 2 Initials in black circle = Name of user being impersonated

7. **To exit the impersonated member state**, select the drop down arrow located next to the name of user being impersonated (highlighted in red circle above).

Select the **Linked Members** option, then **select ‘Your Name’** from the list of users as the Primary User. 

You will now be returned to Dribl Web admin logged in as yourself with your BA level access. 


### ***DRIBL**** *Mobile App

Body Administrators currently *cannot *impersonate member access via the Dribl Mobile App. This is an area of functionality that the Dribl team are aware is currently not available, but is being considered for future development.
