Fixtures can be created for friendlies & trial matches using the ‘unstructured’ league configuration in ***DRIBL.***

This guide outlines the key steps required. For more detailed information on any step, please refer to the hyper link reference found within the relevant steps.

### **How to create a Trial Match**

1. [Login](https://app.dribl.com/signin/) to ***DRIBL***
2. Create a [Competition](https://help.dribl.com/space/LA/16777262/Create+a+Competition) - i.e: Competition name ‘Trial Matches’

Select Competition type: **Standard**

3. Create a [League](https://help.dribl.com/space/LA/143556609/Leagues) - i.e: League name : ‘U14 Trial Matches’.

Select League type: **Unstructured**

4. If referees are required ensure the relevant **referee branch** is selected
5. Navigate to the **Events** tab and select the plus **'+'** icon to **Create Event**.
6. Select the relevant **Competition**.
7. Select the **League** you wish to add the fixture to.
8. Select the **Home Team. **You can search for a team within your local competitions or across the entire ***DRIBL ***platform.

*If the team cannot be found in the list, the team can be added manually using the following steps:*

- Click the **down arrow**   in the Home Team field.
- Enter the **Home Club Name**.
- Enter the **Team Name**.
- Click the **shield icon**  to upload the club's logo (optional).

9. Select the** Away Team** by repeating the steps above
10. Select the **Round Number** (can be left blank if not required).
11. Choose the **Fixture Duration** (total match length including half time break).
12. Select the **Date and Time** of the fixture.
13. Choose the **Fixture Type** of **Round Robin**.
14. Choose the **Field** or venue.
  - Click the **down arrow ** next to **Select Field.**
  - Complete the Venue and Field details
15. Click **Create** to finalise and save the fixture.
16. The fixture will now appear in the **Events** list.
17. [Publish](https://help.dribl.com/space/LA/143523887/Publish+Fixtures) the fixture if required.

**Note**: If referees are required, the match will need to be published, however the competition can be set as ‘Not Visible to Public’ if they don’t need to appear on the public Match Centre.
