**Sequence Adjustments** refer to changes made to the order or numbering of teams or fixtures within a knockout bracket, round robin league, or finals series. It controls **which position a team or match occupies within a pre-defined sequence**, which is important when the fixture progression relies on sequence numbers rather than direct team names.

When a team is added to a league in Dribl, they’re automatically assigned a **Sequence Number**. This number determines their position within the league table, knockout structure, or finals progression.

You can adjust these sequence numbers within Dribl to suit your competition needs.

 

1. **Log in to Dribl**
2. Navigate to the **Leagues** section
3. **Select** your desired **Competition**
4. Hover over the League you wish to adjust and then select the **Sequence Adjustment** icon.
5. Update/Edit the **Sequence Numbers** as required
6. **Save** your changes

  
**Bye Sequence Number**  
  
If your competition has an uneven number of teams or requires a certain number of positions in the draw for scheduling purposes, you can add a **Bye** to your league.

To do this, simply **add a new Bye at a Sequence Number**. The system will treat this as a placeholder team, but it will act as a **Bye**, meaning no opponent will be scheduled for that position in the fixture.

This allows your draw to remain balanced and ensures fixtures are generated correctly around the Bye.
