In ***DRIBL***, a **Stage** is used to label what part of the competition a match belongs to — for example, whether it’s a **Final**, **Semi Final**, **Quarter Final**, **Round of 32**, or another knockout stage.

When setting up fixtures in a knockout or finals series, assigning the correct **Stage** to each match helps keep the draw organised and clearly shows which part of the competition the game is in.

1. [Login](https://app.dribl.com/signin/) to ***DRIBL***
2. Navigate to the **Stages** section on the Dribl platform.
3. Click on the plus **+** icon to create a stage
4. Enter the **Stage Name** (e.g. "Semi Final")
5. Enter the **Abbreviation** (e.g. "SF").
6. Click Create.
7. Find the applicable game under the Events tab and click on the **three dots **.
8. Select **Edit Event.**
9. Scroll down to the **Stage** dropdown menu.
10. Select the appropriate **Stage** for the fixture.
11. Click Update.

Once assigned, the selected Stage will appear in the **Match Centre**, clearly showing which part of the competition the match belongs to.
