Fixtures can be created for friendlies, trial matches, or finals series games that need to be manually scheduled outside the regular draw. 

There are 2 types of fixtures that can be created: Standard or Unstructured. 

### **Standard vs Unstructured Fixtures**

- **Standard:**  
Used for competitions or leagues that follow a formal structure (e.g. regular league rounds, finals series).
- **Unstructured:**  
Used for matches that fall outside of a set structure (e.g. trial games, friendlies, or extra games not attached to a formal league table).

### **How to create a Standard Fixture**

1. [Login](https://app.dribl.com/signin/) to ***DRIBL***
2. Navigate to the **Events** tab and select the plus + icon to ‘Create Event’.
3. Select the relevant **Competition**.
4. Choose the **League** you wish to add the fixture to.
5. (Optional) If you’re creating a **bye**, tick the **Is Bye** option.
6. Select the **Home Team**.
7. Select the **Away Team**.
8. Choose the appropriate **Round Number**.
9. Set the **Fixture Duration** (match length).
10. Select the **Date** of the match.
11. Choose the **Field** or venue the match will be played on.
12. Click **Create** to save the fixture.

### **How to create an Unstructured Fixture**

1. [Login](https://app.dribl.com/signin/) to ***DRIBL***
2. Navigate to the **Events** tab and select the plus + icon to ‘Create Event’.
3. Select the relevant **Competition**.
4. Choose the **League** you wish to add the fixture to.
5. **Select the Home Team:**
  - Click the **down arrow ** in the Home Team field.
  - **Search for the team**.
    - If the team exists in the Dribl database, select it.
    - If the club doesn’t exist, you can manually add it:
      - Enter the **Home Club Name**.
      - Enter the **Team Name**.
      - Click the **shield icon** to upload the club's logo (optional).
6. **Select the Away Team:**
  - Click the **down arrow**   in the Away Team field.
  - **Search for the team**.
    - If the team exists in the Dribl database, select it.
    - If the club doesn’t exist, you can manually add it:
      - Enter the **Away Club Name**.
      - Enter the **Team Name**.
      - Click the **shield icon**  to upload the club's logo (optional).
7. Select the **Round Number** (can be left blank if not required).
8. Choose the **Fixture Duration** (match length).
9. Select the **Date** of the fixture.
10. Choose the **Field** or venue.
11. Click **Create** to finalise and save the fixture.


## **Clone Events**

The **Clone Events **feature enables administrators to duplicate an existing event, this saves time when creating events with similar settings such as cloning First Grade Matches to Reserve Grade or Preseason Matches with minor changes to the event.

Once cloned, you can then make adjustments such as updating the league name, home/away team, age group, kick off time or field.

### How to Clone an Event

1. [Login](https://app.dribl.com/signin/) to ***DRIBL***
2. Navigate to the **Events** tab and select the **Clone Event **icon
3. Review the copied details. Update any necessary fields, such as:

- Competition
- League
- Teams
- Round Number
- Date
- Time
- Field

4. Click **Create** to finalise and save the fixture.
