If a new member joins your association from another association, or has played in a competition run by another association during the year (e.g. a tournament), check for any active bans from their previous association or competition.

There are 2 ways that you can see if a member from another association that has now joint your association has a active member ban that has carried across from that other association:

1. Via the "**Members**" screen: Find the relevant member record in the Members screen, select the "Show Offence History" option next to the member record icons.

> 📝 Example of "Show Offence History" screen via the **Members **function.

2. Via the **Match sheet** - If the member is currently suspended they will be stamped as "Suspended" on the match sheet for the next match.

Click the on the blue **View Member Bans** icon to open and view details of the member ban.

**Important Note **- this automatic view of the member ban is only possible if the other association that the player came from was also using Dribl as their Competition Management System.

If the member has come from another association that does not use Dribl as their Competition Management System, then as an Association BA you would need to manually add any relevant carry over member ban details into your associations Dribl tenancy to apply to this member.
