If a member appears on a match sheet as **“Suspended”** but needs to be made eligible for a specific match, **Body Administrators (BAs)** have the ability to exclude that ban from applying to the match directly through the **Dribl App** or **Dribl Web Admin**. This may be necessary when a match is a friendly, rescheduled, or not intended to count towards a suspension. BAs also have the option to exclude any bans that have been carried across from an entire other competition, ensuring that suspensions are applied fairly and accurately in line with competition rules.
To exclude a ban for a Member/Match or Entire Competition, complete the following steps:

### Via Dribl Web Admin

1. [Login ](https://app.dribl.com/signin/)to ***DRIBL***
2. Click on the **Match Sheets** menu
3. Search for the relevant match sheet, and open the match sheet.
4. You can view and manage member bans *(as per screenshot below)*

A) White Icon (A) represents the functionality to view member bans. Also indicates that this member has no current member bans.

B) Blue Icon (B) represents the functionality to view and manage member ban details for a member who is currently banned (member also has a red “Suspended” label)

C) Green Icon (C) represents the functionality to toggle whether the **Member Ban** is active (green) or not active (red) just for this specific match, for this specific member:

Green = The Member Ban is active and applies to this Match. Member remains as NOT available for selection and will serve 1 game of their ban in this match.

Red = The Member Ban is now INACTIVE and will not apply to this match – a **Match Exclusion** has been applied; member is now available for selection. *Note - the member ban against this member will remain and will re-appear as suspended in the next match if no management of the ban is taken between matches.*

D) Green Icon (D) represents the functionality to toggle if the entire **Other Competition** that member picked up the ban in, will apply to this competition or not.

The other competition that the member has carried the ban across from is listed under the **Competition **heading of the member ban details summary on the match sheet. This would be the other entire competition tat you would be excluding member bans carrying across from.

Green = The Other Competition is INCLUDED as a competition that the member ban carries across from (member remains as NOT available for selection) and will serve 1 game of their ban in this match.

Red = The **Other Competition is EXCLUDED** as a competition that the member ban carries across from. The member IS available for selection and will still need to serve their ban in the other competition.

> 📝 *Any other members that have also carried a ban across from this same other competition that you have now excluded **will also become available for selection**.*

If you have inadvertently excluded a ban (made it inactive), you have the functionality to re-apply either the Member or Competition ban by reselecting the relevant icon above.

###
Via Dribl App

Starting from Dribl app version 3.5.13-1, you can now exclude a ban for a specific member or match, or even exclude an entire competition directly through the Dribl app If this feature is not visible, please ensure your app is[ updated to the latest version.](https://dribl.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/MKB/pages/127336449)

Open the ***DRIBL ***app.

Tap :Match_Centre: **Match Centre **from the navigation bar.

1. Locate and select the match you need to administer.
2. Tap on **Match Sheet**.
3. Tap on home or away team
4. Tap on the member that is suspended
5. Tap View Member Ban
6. Tap Green Icon represents the functionality to toggle whether the **Member Ban** is active (green) or not active (red) just for this specific match, for this specific member:
Green = The member's ban is ACTIVE and applies to this match. The member remains unavailable for selection and will serve one game of their ban during this match
Red = The member's ban is now INACTIVE and will not apply to this match, as a Match Exclusion has been applied. The member is now available for selection. Please note: the ban remains in place and will be reinstated as suspended in the next match unless managed between games

This functionality allows you to toggle whether the ban from the other competition, where the member received the ban, will apply to this competition.

> 📝 The other competition from which the member's ban has been carried over is listed under the 'Competition' heading in the member ban details summary on the match sheet. This represents the entire competition from which member bans can be excluded.

Green = The Other Competition is INCLUDED, meaning the member's ban carries over (the member remains unavailable for selection) and will serve one game of their ban in this match

Red =The Other Competition is EXCLUDED, meaning the member’s ban does not carry over. The member is available for selection in this match but will still need to serve their ban in the other competition.

> ⚠️ Any other members who have also carried a ban over from the same excluded competition will also become available for selection.

If you've inadvertently excluded a ban (made it inactive), you can reapply either the Member or Competition ban by reselecting the appropriate icon above
