As a competition administrator (BA access role), you can define which certificates coaches and managers require in order to be allocated to teams in the various age groups across your competitions.

There are 2 certificate type categories that coaches and managers may require:

How to define General certificate requirements

**General Certificates** are the certificates that cover child protection requirements i.e. WWC (Working With Children) and PBTR (Play By The Rules) certificate requirements.

The below steps will explain how to define which General certificate(s) that coaches and managers require for each of your respective Age groups.

1. Click on **Age Groups**
2. Select the relevant age group
3. Click Edit age group icon
4. Scroll down to the heading of “Certificates” and toggle ON “**Enable General Certificates**”
5. You can now select 1 or more General Certificates that coaches/managers require for this age group
6. Click the **Update **button to save your changes

How to define Coach certificate requirements

**Coaching certificates** are the coaching credential certification levels you require each of your coaches and/or managers to have - i.e. FA/AFC A,B or C license, Game Training or Skill Training certificate. 

The below steps will explain how to define which Coach certificate(s) that coaches and managers require for each of your respective Age groups.

1. Click on **Age Groups**
2. Select the relevant age group
3. Click Edit age group icon
4. Scroll down to the heading of “Certificates” and toggle ON “**Enable Coach Certificates**”
5. You can now select 1 or more Coach Certificates that coaches/managers require for this age group
6. Click the **Update **button to save your changes
