There are 2 key certificate types that referees may require in order to be eligible to officiate a match: 1. Referee / Game Leader certificate 2. General Certificate ### Referee / Game Leader certificate configuration The Referee / Game Leader certificates are the referee credential certificates that signify the level of each referee i.e Level 1,2,3,4 or Game Leader. In order to configure the Referee / Game Leader certificates requirements that a referee / game leader must have in order to officiate a match for any given league: 1. Click on **Leagues** 2. Select relevant competition 3. Click “Edit league” icon against relevant league you wish to configure 4. Scroll down to “Certificates” \ Toggle on Enable Referee/Game Leader Certificates 5. Select the relevant Referee / Game Leader certificate required for this league 6. Click on the **Update **button ![image-20241017-053001.png](media://576360d2-5131-4dfc-ad37-68fa0bb08584) ### General Certificate configuration The General Certificates are the certificates that cover child protection requirements such as the WWC (Working With Children) and PBTR (Play By The Rules) certificate requirements. In order to configure the General Certificates requirements that a referee / game leader must have in order to officiate a match for any given age group (that is tied to a league): 1. Click on **Age Groups** 2. Select the relevant age group 3. Click Edit age group icon 4. Scroll down to the heading of “Certificates” and toggle ON “Enable General Certificates” 5. You can now select 1 or more General Certificates that are required to officiate this age group 6.
