### Overview

Teams are created by Competition and Club Administrators. Dribl supports the ability for an Association to be solely responsible for the creation of teams on behalf of a Club or they can delegate the responsibility to a Club, which is common practice.

The construct of teams within Dribl allows options to be configured against a team which will enforce compliance checks such as the minimum number of players required for grading, or the maximum number of players allowed to be assigned to a team.

A Team is always associated with an 'Age Group' and as such, will automatically inherit all options configured for the specific age group.


Each association consists of a number of clubs and branches; each club consists of a number of teams that play in the various football competitions available to them.

Teams are created by a Competition Administrator or Club Administrator


To create a Team, complete the following steps:

1. [Log in to ](https://app.dribl.com/)*[DRIBL](https://app.dribl.com/)*
2. Select **Teams** from the **Actions** menu or the main navigation menu.
3. Click **+**(Create) from the task menu. The **Create Team** form is displayed.
4. Enter all the relevant information for the Team.

| Association | The Association that this team belongs to. This value is inherited and cannot be modified. |
| --- | --- |
| Club | Select the club that the team belongs to. |
| Competition | Select the competition that the team will participate in. |
| Age Group | Select the age group that the team will participate in. |
| Division | Select the division age group that the team will participate in. |
| Group | Optionally specify a group name for the team when a unique name for the team is required or to be able distinguish between teams when a club has multiple teams in the same league. |
| Gender | Select the gender classification for the team. |
| Axis | Optionally specify an Axis that the Team will participate in (if applicable). |
| Code | An automatically generated unique code for the team. |
| Minimum Players | Set the minimum number of players required before a team can be submitted for grading for the competition. |
| Maximum Players | Set the maximum number of players that can be assigned to a team. |

5. Click **Create**.

## Bulk Update Teams Fieds 


After creating teams, you can make bulk changes if needed. This allows you to update multiple teams at once without having to open and edit each team individually.

2. Select Teams from the Actions menu or the main navigation menu.
3. Click the Filter icon  and filter the teams you want to update (optional).
4. Click Bulk Update Team Fields.
5. Update the field(s) you need.
6. Click Bulk Update.
7. Review the changes to confirm they are correct.
