Yes, you can use Dribl for Pre-Season and friendly matches.

These matches are the perfect way to confirm if your Dribl access is setup correctly as a coach, manager or referee and to start putting into practice match day processes prior to the regular season commencing.

###
Steps to use Dribl for Trial / Friendly matches

**Local Competition Provider**

1. Your local competition provider must use Dribl for the regular season competition

> 📝 Please check with your local competition provider if they will use Dribl for trials / friendly matches

2. The local competition provider creates the trial match fixture in Dribl

**Clubs admins**

3. Advise your members to register ASAP ** Particularly Coaches and Managers
4. Review and Approve the registration requests via your Registration platform
5. Once the registrations arrive in Dribl, Review and Approve to create member records
6. Now map players, coaches & managers to their relevant teams in Dribl

**Coaches / Managers**

7. Coach/Manager either creates a Dribl account (using same email address used to register via Registration platform) or logs into Dribl with their existing Dribl account (if already created)
8. Coach/Manager can now validate that they can access and administer the digital match sheet for their team and make their match day team selections using a combination of:

a) Registered players that have been mapped to the team (and)

b) [Guest members](https://help.dribl.com/space/TO/111017998/Guest+members) (where allowed) can be added to populate the remainder of the match day squad selections.

**Referees**

9. If a match official has been assigned to the match in Dribl, the match official can perform all match official tasks such as check-in, add all match event data, scores and complete the match sheet.
