Blockouts

Overview As the name suggests, Blockouts are used to block out time periods so that no matches can be scheduled for a Competition, Ground, Field, Age Group, or League.

To create a Blockout, complete the following steps:
 

1. Log in to Dribl.

2. Select Blockouts from the Actions menu or the main navigation menu.

3. Click +(Create) from the task menu. The Create New Blockout form is displayed.

4. Enter all the required information for the Blockout.
    

   Name	Enter the name of the Blockout.
   Type	Select the type of entity that the Blockout will apply to: Competition Ground Field Age Group League
   Blockout	This lists all records of the selected Type. Select the relevant item.
   Start Date/Time End Date/Time	Enter the Start and End Date/Time of the Blockout. Note that any fixtures that currently fall within this period will remain. It is advised that Blockouts are completed prior to the season start.
   League Size Required	Select this option to specify that this Blockout will only apply to leagues of a certain size. For example, set this parameter to 8 to only include leagues that subscribe to the 8-team composition set in the Football Calendar.
   Strategy	Select the League Strategy that the Blockout will apply to. [Confirm if this is correct.] Standard Multiheader

5. Click Create.
