Overview

Grading is an important process that provides competition administrators the ability to validate the teams being entered by the Clubs and ensures that the integrity of the competition is maintained. It serves as a compliance check for all teams and determines whether they have been set to participate at a level suitable for each team providing a fair and balanced playing field.

Submission of teams for grading is managed differently across different Associations. Some request that clubs print out reports for all their teams and submit these physical reports to the association for review and others simply lock all teams and review the submitted teams digitally by generating their own grading reports for review.

To generate a grading report, perform the following steps:

  1. Select the Teams tab.

  2. Via the list menu area you will be able to navigate and see all the teams. You will have the ability to filter the records in the list using the filter functionality and return only the teams you wish to have a grading summary for.

  3. Via the list menu area press the Report menu and select Grading Summary.

  4. A report will be dispatched to the Report queue.

  5. Select the Reports tab.

  6. Wait until the report has completed processing and then download the report.

A sound grading process will ensure that all teams and players are challenged at the appropriate level while their experience and enjoyment is maximised on game day.

Grading Reports

The Grading Report is fundamental to the grading process and contains historic information of Members that have been associated to a Team. The report assists in identifying the suitability of a Team in the League it which it has been placed. If a Team has been made up of players that have played at a high level in the past but have been assigned into a lower division, the Team will be moved into a League that matches and is more suitable and aligned to their ability. This ensures the integrity of the League and competition run by the organisers.
